Though this turbocharged grape is becoming increasingly popular, 100% Durif wines are still rare. The grape that "takes no prisoners" (The Observer) needs a master to tame it… and what a master Bill is!
Inky-black with aromas of forest fruit, liquorice and spice. Velvety smooth with powerful flavours of ripe black cherries, chocolate and soft oak. Great with steaks and rich, meaty casseroles.
