In 2004, the hand-harvested, old-vine fruit enjoyed long sunny days, while cooling breezes off the Adriatic kept all the big bold flavours fresh and vibrant – Ettore described the harvest as ‘ideal’.

Deep ruby red with attractive aromas of damsons, and hints of liquorice and spice. Intensely rich bramble fruit flavour with a silky layer of subtle sweet oak. Delicious with slow-roasted lamb, or sipped with hard Italian cheeses.
