Los Rosales Chapel Vineyard Syrah 2006Hallowed Syrah - the pride and joy of Chile's oldest family estate. Taste how great Chile can be!
"The excitement about Syrah in Chile is palpable" - Decanter magazine
A classic example of the New World red that's got the critics very excited, Los Rosales Chapel Vineyard Syrah is dense, smoky and packed with dark fruit flavour
Founded in 1824, Los Rosales is Chile's oldest estate and has been owned by the Ossa family for five generations. Chapel Vineyard is the estate's most highly prized site, high up in the Cornellana Valley where Syrah vines bask in long days of unbroken sunshine. Los Rosales chief winemaker, José Ignacio Cancino, won 8 awards at the International Wine Challenge including the Best wine of Chile Trophy!
Lovely, deep ruby colour with smoky aromas of violets and blackcurrants, masses of black fruit flavour and earthy, peppery notes. Supple tannins and a silky smooth texture - perfect with roast meats.
