S5 is one of the most delicious black Syrahs you’ll find anywhere - legend André Roux has been harvesting grapes since he was in short trousers, and hand selects only the best fruit to create S5. Expert, no-expense-spared winemaking culminates in luxurious ageing in oak barrels giving a smooth roundness to all that dark fruit power.

Despite quality that rivals the fine Syrahs of the northern Rhône, wine laws in the south mean 100% Syrah can only be sold as humble Vin de Table, no matter how good.

Smoky aromas of violets, black pepper and ripe brambles, joined by flavours of rich, spicy plum, blackcurrant fruits and a touch of cinnamon. Deep and velvety, enjoy with shepherd’s pie, char-grilled steak or roast lamb.
