You'd be hard pushed to find better winemaking credentials than this. Jean-Marc Sauboua was born and bred in the French wine heartland of Bordeaux and landed an apprenticeship in the hallowed cellars of Chateau Haut Brion (couldn't start much higher).

Now he heads up special project wines like this magnificent, oak-aged 100% Syrah. Dark, spicy and beautifully structured.
