Wrangles Viognier Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2007Wonderfully elegant rarity from Philip Shaw, the 'Godfather of Australian winemaking'.
A tongue-tingling blend of Viognier, Sauvignon and Semillon - three of the finest quality white grapes with an amazing synergy of flavours between them! Viognier gives peachy aroma, Sauvignon a cut-grass freshness while Semillon fills the glass with lemony richness.
The mastermind behind this wine is Philip Shaw - arguably the world's greatest living winemaker, well known to long-standing Rosemount Estate fans and now the proud owner of a brand new winery of his own in Orange. Here, vineyards are among the highest and coolest in the country which adds a devastatingly aromatic edge to the deliciously ripe Aussie fruit.
Deliciously rich, with opulent candied flavours. If you had to choose just one new wine for the Summer, we couldn't recommend anything more refreshing or rewarding. Serve chilled with barbecued seafood kebabs, king prawns or a chicken and mango salad.
