Description
Luxuriously round, rich and expensive tasting - Cru Classé white surely? It's actually made in our very own garage at Château La Clarière, just round the corner from Saint-Emilion ... and pound for pound one of the best value whites you can buy.
The brief was simple ... to create Grand Cru quality at a 'sensible' price. So we took delivery of the finest oak barriques, while winemaker Jean-Marc Sauboua scoured southern France for the best Viognier grapes.
Oak-fermented, to give the unctuous liquid all the time it needed to develop the luscious Viognier characteristics. Luscious aromas of vanilla, peaches and honeysuckle ... there's no better white for barbecued king prawns.
