Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2007Top-shelf Sauvignon from Australia's premium Adelaide Hills region
Shaw & Smith began over a long lunch in 1989 when cousins Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith decided to realize a long held dream to make wine together. Both were already familiar faces in the wine industry (Martin Shaw was Australia's first Master of Wine!) and knew exactly how they wanted to produce their magnificent wine.
It's no surprise then that Shaw and Smith chose the cool climate Adelaide Hills to make their superb, whistle-clean Sauvignon Blanc. Renowned Aussie wine expert James Halliday called this region "the best in the country for Sauvignon Blanc" and awarded Shaw and Smith an impressive 95 points for their terrific white.
Bright and intense with plenty of ripe, zesty fruit flavours. Serve nicely chilled alongside scallops or a crisp summer salad.
