Mission Estate Hawkes Bay 'Greenmeadows' Sauvignon Blanc 2007Enticing, gooseberry-fresh Sauvignon from New Zealand's oldest winery
Founded in 1838 by a group of French Missionaries, Mission Estate is Hawke's Bay's largest winery, with a well-respected reputation in the New Zealand market as a producer of consistent quality, value for money wines.
Winemaker, and family man Paul Mooney has been working at the cellar for almost 30 years winning numerous awards in both at home and in international competitions. He painstakingly handpicked the grapes for this zippy Sauvignon in the pristine Greenmeadows vineyard, which enjoys plenty of sunshine and cool, temperate breezes that are perfect for ripening grapes!
"Vibrant and rich with abundant tropical fruit, citrus, passionfruit and gooseberry flavours. The palate is crisp, fruity and dry with a clean, lingering finish"
