Description
With its fresh tropical fruit aromas and crisp minerally flavours, this is a great wine to serve at a party if you want to impress. But then Sam Trimboli's wines always go down a treat, and he has a bulging trophy cabinet to show for it - in fact he's won over 1,000 awards in just the last four vintages!

Sam is based at the acclaimed Warburn Estate, set up by an Italian family in the middle of last century and now a thriving business. Aussie wine pundit Stuart Gregor writes "Warburn is a winery on the move. Yet another Riverina producer which has started to make up ground on the better-established producers, the Warburn range of wines has no weaknesses."

Sam made this wine from a combination of Colombard and Chardonnay - the Colombard giving a crisp backbone of appley fruit, while the Chardonnay adds juicy tropical flavours as well as extra weight and roundness - resulting in a beautifully balanced wine. Sam Trimboli and Toni Sergi, the owner of Warburn Estate, are both keen fishermen and keep their own boats on the Murray River so they can spend their spare time indulging in their favourite pastime - often accompanied by a bottle or two of this wine!
