Best female winemaker in South Africa, Eleanor Visser's" top-notch Colombard comes from the 2007 vintage - an excellent year for dry white wines in South Africa - and is made using grapes from the premium Worcester area of the Cape. A terrific alternative to pricey Loire whites, this has all the citrus freshness of good Sauvignon Blanc.

Pale lemon gold with youthful greenish glints. Mouthwatering aromas of green apple, cut grass and guava accompany lively, juicy apple and citrus flavours. Enjoy on its own or with a light lunch such as red pepper houmous, avocado salad or gently spicy oriental cuisine.
