Estampilla Torrontes Sauvignon 2006

“Argentina is arguably blessed with the New World's most diverse line-up of grapes” (Tim Atkin, The Observer). Made along very organic lines, this mouthwateringly crisp white marries gently spicy Torrontés (Argentina’s speciality white) with racy Sauvignon.

The area is doubly blessed thanks to a climate ideal for vines. Warm days and cool, dry nights in the high-altitude vineyards ensure a tremendously long ripening period. Snowmelt from the hills provides the purest irrigation in near desert-like conditions.

Leap-from-the-glass aromas of wild flowers and orchard fruits leading to lingering grapefruit, pineapple and citrus flavours. A lively aperitif that also goes very well with green salads and light fish dishes.
