The Biscardo family have been winemakers in the region for 200 years. Highly experienced Maurizio Biscardo now holds the reigns with the help of his brother, Martino.
A well-respected winemaker, Maurizio’s Pinot Grigio has real depth and character – reflecting the 19th history of the romantic Villa Masetti near Lake Garda in the hills of Verona. Handpicked in the cool morning, the grapes are collected in traditional wooden cases and then cool-fermented to retain their flavour and freshness.
Pale straw colour with delicate notes of almonds, fresh melon and enticing spice. Citrusy on the palate and filled with apple flavours and a hint of aromatic herbs. Delicious on its own or served with asparagus, seafood or simply cold chicken.

"A very pale straw, almost white gold at first appearance. The nose comes in with honey at the start, then green grass, spring meadowsapple blossom. The first taste brings sweet apples again then it's all citrus, medium length and quite acidic, ending with a creamy, leathery finish."
