Well, JMS recently visited the Loire winemaking genius Didier Dagueneau of Pouilly-Fumé. Inspired, he has since been experimenting with tiny amounts of various barrel-fermented 'super Sauvignons' ... and this one is reserved for the Chai.

Not so explosively aromatic and jazzy, it gives you deeper, longer Sauvignon flavours ... add that touch of barrel-fermentation and you'll find cream, vanilla, depth and length. Superb stuff - but only four barrels made!
