Our buyer Helen was also impressed, calling it "one of the best Garnacha wines I have tasted for the price!" And at this fantastic value price, it's a truly delicious proposition. It's made using ripe, full-bodied Garnacha, from gnarled 30-year-old vines in the suntrap Carinena region. Home to some of the most popular reds in our cellars, Torre de Longares is a brilliant example of why Garnacha is very at home in this part of Spain. Yields here are low, but in 2009 there was particularly little off the vines, meaning that those grapes that did make the final cut were extraordinarily intense. The quality is supreme, but there's less of it to go round! Make sure you snap this up today.
