Our Limited Release range has simple labels, but the wine in the bottle is anything but. It offers superb quality at an excellent price usually due to a cancelled order or if a cellar needs space. And mostly, we aren't allowed to name the source. However, we can tell you this luscious Bordeaux-like Merlot is from Casa Lapostolle, high in the Colchagua Valley. Its flagship wine is widely regarded as one of Chile’s finest, often scoring 90 to 94 points from critics such as James Suckling and Robert Parker. Made from intensely flavoured, hand picked, premium grapes and aged in French oak for a year, the 2014 was bottled with minimum filtration. If sediment has developed, stand upright for a few hours and decant. Best enjoyed with roast lamb.
