Description
This superb fizz is jointly made by experienced family estate Langlois-Château and super-famous Champagne house Bollinger.
Founded in 1885 by Edouard Langlois and wife Jeanne Chateau (hence Langlois-Chateau not Château Langlois!) the estate has managed to hang on to its family character, producing award-winning fizz. The Bollinger team showers attention on this rosé - carefully handpicking Cabernet Franc grapes from low-yielding vines, and gently pressing them to retain maxium flavour and light colour.
This beautifully rich, stylish crémant from Saumur, heart of the Loire, proves you can have Gold medal quality ... without paying steep Champagne prices!
"Softly pink-hued with small, persistent bubbles and mouthwatering white peach aromas … lots of fruit on the palate with a lightly floral character. Delicious with strawberries and cream!"
