Description
Whether you're a fan of the Loire, Pinot Grigio or simply love mouthwatering whites - La Trinité de Martel should definitely make it into your order today. Only 500 cases were made so you probably won't see it again …
It's made from pure Pinot Blanc (thoroughbred cousin of Pinot Grigio), a grape originally from Burgundy, now synonymous with Alsace. It's never found in the Loire … except for a few dozen rows in the little village of Villiers, hence the limited volumes.
Fresh and dry with a purity that Loire devotees will adore, and a lovely touch of spice too. La Trinité de Martel is a one-off, UK exclusive that's absolutely perfect for the warm days ahead! Blossom and pear aromas and crisp orchard fruit flavours. The finish is long and fresh with hints of spice and peach. Superb with all kinds of seafood, especially grilled scallops or tiger prawns.
