Description
One of the West Country’s best-kept secrets! This is a lovely blend of cider brandy and the pure juice of Somerset’s finest and rarest vintage cider apple – the legendary Kingston Black. “Clean and fresh, smelling as much of the orchard as the fruit; it is light and refreshing to drink, with an intriguing honeyed, smoky complexity.” The FT.
Seriously packed with flavour, this unique gem is made in a similar fashion to Port. Julian Temperly’s cider orchards are the epitome of picturesque rural England, and the oak-aged brandy used is distilled by Julian in two old fashioned stills named Fifi and Josephine - as a nod to their Gaelic heritage.
“Delicious aromas of ripe apples mixed with gentle hints of sweet spice to give a very moreish treat. Sweet but utterly refreshing, drink as an aperitif, as a dessert wine or with cheese.”
