Description
Domaine d'Aubaret is a smart buy if you love the depth of good Bordeaux and the value of southern France. This fine estate in acclaimed Faugères is owned by the respected, aptly named Bonfils family. All three 'good sons' of Jean-Michel play a part - vineyard expert Jérome, Olivier the winemaker and Laurent the sales manager - the easiest job, say his brothers, as the wine almost sells itself, especially at this price!

Aromas of ripe plums, cassis and tobacco. Merlot gives the wine its succulent berry fruit while Cabernet adds depth and backbone (this grape marriage is behind many classic clarets). So smooth and mellow after a year in premium oak and perfect with roast beef.
