Fleurie is possibly Beaujolais' most famous and popular 'cru' village. As Hugh Johnson says, the finest Fleurie is "the epitome of a Beaujolais Cru ... fruity, scented, silky, racy".
And this offers textbook, spicy red berry fruit and a deliciously silky finish. Wonderful with roast pork or cold meats.
