He's built himself an impressive vineyard holding in Griffith over the years through sheer hard work and focus on quality. That's why 'Mr Medals' - winemaker Sam Trimboli - approached him for his grapes during the 2006 harvest. He told us "They were perfect, spotless and beautifully ripe. I knew I could make something really special with them".

And he certainly has. Sun-ripened tropical fruit flavours - guava, pineapple and so on - mingle with peach-fresh Chardonnay. Crisp, refreshing and well balanced. Serve chilled with barbecued prawn kebabs, sautéed scallops, chicken and mango salad or poached salmon.
