Description
With its light heathery aroma mixed with hints of fudge and Seville orange, this Highland Malt, from the Teaninich distillery has much to offer the connoisseur. Aged for 20 years in re-filed sherry casks it is wonderfully smooth with warming butterscotch flavours and nots of creamy sherry leading to a long-lasting, dry peaty finish.

Though the Teaninich has never released its own single malt, it has always been highly prized by blenders and has been running almost continuously for two centuries. The distillery was built in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro near Alness in Ross-shire in the northern Highlands.
