Joubert's Farm is aged in fine oak barriques, is rich and elegant … and it's the first Shiraz we've ever shipped from Stellenbosch, "the pre-eminent South African wine appellation" (Decanter magazine).

There are many more quality credentials … five generations of family expertise - the Jouberts have made wine at this historic Stellenbosch estate for centuries. Today it's run by Jannie Joubert, with his son and brother … a team of Shiraz masters.

Perfect climate - the estate is very high up with stunning views of False Bay and Table mountain, benefiting from abundant sunshine (that's why this is so ripe and round) and cool sea breezes (which help add a subtle touch of finesse).

Deep garnet colour and an enticing nose of blackberries, dark cherries and spice. Rich, peppery bramble fruit, balanced by toasty oak. Just perfect - imagine good Rhône Syrah meets fine Aussie Shiraz. Excels with roast beef or game dishes.
