Description
Renaudin may only be a small Champagne house, but it can certainly rival the big names in quality. This wine alone has 14 awards and recommendations to its name. Fizz expert Tom Stevenson wrote of it "I have found Renaudin to be consistently high in quality" and rates the wines among the Grands Marques such as Bollinger, Moët and Veuve Clicquot to name but three.

The family estate lies within Domaine des Conardins, a 24-hectare property founded over 300 years ago on the coveted slopes of Champagne's Epernay and the Côte des Blancs. Thérèse Renaudin and her two sons run the estate today, following in the footsteps of her father who founded the Champagne House.

Unlike most estates in Champagne, they choose to use only estate-grown fruit - in this instance equal portions of Chardonnay which lends the bubbly its creamy, buttery peach quality, and the two Pinots, Meunier and Noir. The Meunier gives the young wines a delicious richness and breadth, while the Pinot Noir continues the power and complexity as the wine matures, and also lends a pretty scented aroma.
