Description
Celebrated and ancient bodega Palacio de Arganza marked its bicentenary with some glorious 2005s. The bodega supplied the Royal Houses of Galicia and Léon, and today its flagship wine, Dominio, sells for £60-plus a bottle!

Juicy and easier to drink, Castillo Alonso is made exclusively from gnarled old Garnacha vines grown in Castilla's most elevated vineyards. Each silken mouthful deliciously proves the Hugh Johnson maxim: "Old vines, therefore more flavour."

Attractive deep ruby colour and leap-from-the-glass aromas of crushed red berries. Rich and smooth with lingering Summer fruit flavours. Very versatile - the perfect 'house red' for your collection.
