Winemakers like Mario Garcia treasure these Monastrell vines as blessed natural gifts, and craft highly acclaimed reds. Last year Mario, whose vines stand in the centuries-old monastery vineyards, enjoyed a clean sweep of 5-star rating for his wines in Spain's premier wine guide!

Here Monstrell from 70-year-old vines, renowned for power and intensity, provide an inky black core whilst a dash of noble Temprani llo gives a lovely smooth, deliciously spicy finish. Ideal with rich dishes such as ratatouille, roasted game, serrano ham and chorizo.
