Our buyer's brief was cool, crisp Pinot Grigio-like whites - so he headed straight to old friends Maurizio and Martino Biscardo in Soave. We've known the Biscardo brothers for years and our buyer knew they'd have something extra special up their sleeve.
And they did! Made from 100% finest Garganega (the principal grape of Soave), this spectacularly fresh white is bursting with bright, citrus-charged character. Garganega is used in the region's finest £20-a-bottle whites, so this is quite a bargain!
Exceptionally crisp with bags of light and zippy lemon and grapefruit character. Try a chilled glass alongside steamed fish or chicken Caesar salad.
