Based in an ancient castle overlooking the sea, the Farnese cellar is dedicated to raising the profile of Abruzzo and its many fascinating grape varieties. We have worked with them for over 10 years now and our close relationship gives us first dibs on their highly sought-after wines - now also exclusively labelled for us, too. This is their flagship Trebbiano, a grape prized for its combination of citrus and tropical fruit and delicate nutty character. Talented winemaker Filippo Baccalaro selected fruit from low-yielding vines to ensure good concentration and mouthwatering crispness in this white - characteristics that make it perfect with a wide selection of foods. Antipasti, seafood risotto or grilled white fish would all be top choices.
