Cat Lomax joined us in 2009 as a Wine Buyer's Assistant. Now
she's part of our highly successful wine buying team and has been
voted Young Achiever of the Year at The Drinks Business Awards 2011.
Across the pond, you'll find Duncan Hurley. He joined our Call
Centre, as an Adviser in 1999 and is now Creative Director for our
fast growing American business. Just two of our home-grown stars that
have helped Laithwaites become the world's largest direct to consumer
wine merchant - yet we're still family owned and Tony, our founder,
works as hard as he ever did.
You don't have to be a wine buff to work here. We run our own
wine education programme for all employees, so we'll soon have you
feeling confident about your wine knowledge - and spark your
