For many years Laithwaite Brut Premier Cru has been created exclusively for us by superb cellars in Avize, one of Champagne's finest Grand Cru villages. 90% of their vineyards are classified Grand Cru or Premier Cru and this particular cuvée - a blend of 100 different vats - is made from 80% Grand Cru grapes, the rest Premier Cru. What's more, it was long aged on its lees before the final disgorgement, then matured for 30 months in bottle before release - double the required minimum - ensuring a really luxurious character.Made two thirds from Chardonnay and one third from Pinot Noir, this elegant, Gold medal winning Champagne is perfect for any special occasion, served well chilled with fine canapés or simply for sipping solo.
