The Felipe Edwards estate lies on the upper slopes of Chile's Colchagua Valley, overlooking a stunning vista of pristine vineyards. A canny businessman, Luis Felipe Edwards originally made his fortune in the construction industry, but then decided to follow his dream and create his own wine estate, starting with a small piece of land and gradually buying more and more vineyards. Behind the grand facade of his fully renovated old colonial house is a state-of-the-art winery, complete with a luxurious barrel cellar, lit by chandeliers! With its blackcurrant fruit and minty character, this classic Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon is spot-on with peppered steaks, roast lamb, stuffed aubergine, toad-in-the-hole, or grilled meats with onion confit.
