Hervé Fabre is a man with vision. He left his native Bordeaux 16 years ago and now runs one of Argentina's leading wine estates. Perfect timing - for, as Wine Spectator notes, "this South American nation is one of the biggest wine success stories of the past decade". And Hervé has ridden the wave from the start, earning a string of national and international Gold medals and Trophies for his efforts. This sumptuous red is made from the hand picked fruit of 40 year old vines in Mendoza, a region with "the terroir to produce not just good but truly great Malbec" (Decanter). It was matured for 12 months in the finest French oak to produce a rich, robust yet wonderfully refined style of Malbec. Best enjoyed with roast beef or lamb.
