Grenache produces a wonderfully fresh, fruity style of rosé with a moreish, peppery edge - and some of the finest come from the Côtes du Rhône. Le Prince de Courthézon is a superb example from a top cellar in Châteauneuf and was crafted by Thierry Ferlay, a young, dynamic and fiercely talented winemaker who has worked all over the region - as well as at Australia's renowned Rutherglen Estate - and has a multitude of medals to his name already.Thierry made this wine from a classic Rhône style blend (Grenache with generous dashes of Syrah and Cinsault), gently crushing the grapes and cool fermenting them to preserve their crisp acidity and summer fruit flavours. A lovely glass to sip on its own, or alongside chicken, salmon or salads.
