Indeed, winemaker Pedro Hipólito, who produced this white, selected his best vats to go into this exclusive blend. Albarrada was made at a small cellar, built 50 years ago but now furnished with the most up-to-date winemaking equipment. Crisp and citrusy with a delicate minerally hint, it makes a lovely apéritif. Try, too, with pasta with fresh tomato and basil or grilled white fish such as Dover sole or halibut.
