This superb wine is from the well respected Domaine Bott Geyl, who feature in every major wine guide in France. At the helm is Jean-Christophe Bott, a direct descendant of Jean-Martin Geyl, who established the estate in 1795. It was certified organic in 2000 and biodynamic two years later. Of utmost importance is respect for the soil and the environment. The entire estate consists of just 13 hectares of vines, including a number of Grand Cru sites, and is treated by the owners as one living organism, as they believe its health determines the quality and flavour of the grapes. With its racy citrus character and complex minerally notes, this white makes a delicious apéritif and a top accompaniment to grilled white fish and shellfish.
