The perfect wine to come home to after a hard day's work or enjoy of a lunchtime in the garden. The Aussies are renowned for innovation and trend setting and we'd wager this style will soon be all the rage in the UK. Giant Steps winery was established by Phil Sexton, formerly of 'ultra premium' Devil's Lair in Margaret River. An avid jazz fan, he named it after a John Coltrane album of the 1960s. Nine Tails is naturally sparkling (so very much the real thing) and fermentation was stopped in time to leave a hint of natural sweetness in the wine. Sparkling Muscat is very 'in' Down Under: the ideal antidote to sweltering Summer heat. But it's also just the ticket with blue cheese and biscuits or strawberries and ice cream.
